About the Project
WEC served as a key electrical supply and logistics partner for the JFK Terminal 6 Development — one of the most significant aviation infrastructure projects currently underway in the United States. Terminal 6 is a 1.2-million-square-foot expansion designed to accommodate ten international wide-body contact gates, developed by JFK Millennium Partners (Vantage Group, American Triple I, RXR Realty, and JetBlue Airways). The project broke ground in February 2023 with full completion expected by 2028.
WEC's Role: Electrical Supply & Logistics
WEC provided coordinated procurement and jobsite-ready delivery logistics aligned to the phased construction demands of a complex, high-visibility, schedule-driven build environment — ensuring electrical supply continuity across all active construction phases.
Project Impact
Terminal 6 is a critical component of the Port Authority's $19 billion JFK transformation, generating over 4,000 jobs including 1,800 union construction positions, and will serve as one of the premier international aviation gateways in the United States.
