The Square D™ QOB240 is a QO™ bolt-on miniature circuit breaker rated at 40A, 2-pole, for 120/240 VAC systems. It provides 10 kA interrupting capacity with common/thermal magnetic trip. Bolt-on mount design for secure installation in NQOB and NQ panelboards or interiors. It accepts wire sizes #8 to #2 AWG (copper or aluminum). HACR rated. UL Listed and CSA certified. Suitable for commercial and industrial 240V branch circuit protection applications requiring higher amperage in panelboard configurations.
